1. REGISTERING YOUR GIFT LIST
a. When you register your Gift List you agree to abide by the Terms & Conditions of the Quay West Living – Weddings & Special Occasions Gift List Service. Terms & Conditions can also be found in the information pack you will receive when registering your List with us.
b. Gift List registration cannot be carried out on-line but must be registered in our Falmouth shop.
c. Once you have registered and compiled your list it will be published on our web site and you will be provided with a unique List Number, password for access etc. You will be provided with the necessary information to send out with your invitations regarding your unique List Number, web site access, password, contact details etc. It is your responsibility to ensure that only those persons you wish to have access to your List are provided with this access information.
2. BUYING A GIFT
a. Once your relatives and friends have decided upon the Gift(s) they would like to purchase they can call into our shop or telephone, fax or email us. They will not be able to purchase directly from our web site but they can contact us and we will amend the list accordingly at the end of every day. We will reserve or order the item(s) requested once payment is received, at which time we will amend the list accordingly.
N.B. some items which have to be ordered may be subject to mnimum order restrictions imposed by our suppliers and may involve a carriage charge.
b. When contacting us we will collect details of the purchasers so as we may contact them in the event of any unforeseen problems with ordering etc. This will also assist us in compiling an accurate record of the Gifts purchased, and by whom, to give to you with the Gifts.
3. CLOSING THE LIST
a. You should close your list approximately two weeks prior to your ceremony date, this will enable us to collate and wrap your Gifts. However some items may be purchased within the last few weeks prior to the ceremony and may have to be ordered from our suppliers. It may then take a number of weeks after the ceremony date for these items to arrive. These late orders may then be collected from our Falmouth shop when they arrive.
4. DELIVERY
a. We will gift wrap all items and, unless you request otherwise, we will deliver them free of charge to the address or venue of your choice within a 25 miles radius of our Falmouth shop. Deliveries further afield, but still within the County of Cornwall, will be subject to a £10 delivery charge (which must be paid prior to delivery). We will arrange with you a convenient date for delivery once all purchases have been fulfilled.
b. Items which have been ordered late and do not arrive with us in time (as detailed in Para 3.a. above) will not be delivered and must be collected from our Falmouth shop.
c. A list of all Gifts purchased, and by whom, will be supplied to you upon delivery.
5. PRICES
a. Prices quoted on your List may change between the time you compile your List and the time of purchase. Price changes, which will be due to amended prices charged by our suppliers will, wherever possible, be notified to you and will be amended on your List on-line. The price of any item will be that on the day of purchase.
6. RETURNS
a. We will thoroughly check all items prior to delivery. You will then be responsible for checking all items for damage or defects and informing us within 48hrs of delivery, we will then arrange for a replacement where necessary. Any damaged or defective item will be exchanged for a like item, providing that it is still available, or for a substitute item or gift voucher to the same or greater value.
7. PRIVACY POLICY
a. Any information we may collect in the course of administering your Gift List will be treated in the strictest confidence. Security of data is a very high priority and no details collected will be passed to other businesses, agencies or third parties for mailing, marketing or for whatever purpose without the express permission of the person or persons concerned. We have no associations with any other agencies ie market research etc.
8. CANCELLATIONS
a. In the unfortunate event that your ceremony or event has to be cancelled you must inform us immediately and your Gift List will be closed.
b. Any items already purchased will remain the property of the individual purchaser who will then become responsible for collection, or disposal otherwise, of their item(s).
c. If the date of your ceremony or event has to be changed you must inform us immediately and we will amend details of your Gift List accordingly.
